Letter from PTA President

August 2024 

Welcome Providence Spring Elementary Rockets to the 2024-2025 school year! I am honored to be a part of the Rocket family and the President of the PTA. 

If this is your first year at Providence Spring Elementary, I would like to extend a warm welcome to each of you. If you are one of our returning Rocket families - welcome back! I know you are as excited as we are to be starting the new school year. 

As I embark on my term as your PTA President, I am looking forward to continuing the strong partnership we have established with our phenomenal administration, teachers and parents to provide an exceptional learning experience for our children at PSE!

Our PTA remains focused on supporting our students, families, teachers, and staff in every way we can. We do this with our advocacy, community building, and partnering with our staff. 

However, we can’t do this alone! One of my main goals is for you to have transparency to where your dollars are being spent at PSE.

This year, we are excited to introduce Together We Soar: Fueling Success at PSE. This fundraising campaign will be the primary source of revenue for the PSE PTA to support our school and its four pillars: the Paideia philosophy, technology, outdoor learning, and character development.

Together We Soar is PSE PTA’s primary fundraiser this school year! Your support will directly benefit your child and contributes to the programs and school activities that have become traditions at PSE that benefit all students.

The success of this campaign is dependent on your donations. Thank you in advance for your donations along with the time to gain company matches and encourage your friends and family to donate to the success of the school.

I would like to encourage you to join our PTA (memberships are available here). Joining the PTA does not mean that you must volunteer or serve as a board member; although we do hope that you do! By joining and supporting the PSE PTA, you have a voice and vote in the decisions that the PTA makes. Through your support, the PTA can continue to support the programs and experiences at PSE that enrich our children’s lives and foster our sense of community as Rockets. 

I would also encourage you to join our upcoming school events. These events are intended to strengthen our sense of community and engagement within our school and with our students and staff.
