Why attend Providence Spring Elementary?
The mission of Providence Spring is to provide an enriched environment where children learn to be successful in society while expressing their individuality and contributing to the collective good.
There are so many reasons but some of the top reasons are:
Providence Spring Elementary is Paideia Certified. Providence Spring employs the Paideia principles of teaching and learning and is the only Paideia certified elementary school in the state and only one of about 10 in the country. Paideia is not only a philosophy, it is also the use of powerful instructional strategies to teach challenging and rigorous content. Providence Spring has been named a Nationally Accredited Paideia School by the National Paideia Center and has seven faculty members that have been named to the National Faculty. You can learn more about Paideia here: https://www.paideia.org/
Dedicated Teachers and Staff: Our teachers are some of the most experienced and talented in their field. All of our teachers care about our children’s academic success and social-emotional well being. Many of our teachers have been recognized by CMS throughout the years.
Engaged Parents: Research shows that family engagement supports student success. Students with involved parents are more likely to earn higher grades and pass their classes, attend school regularly, have better social skills and go on to post secondary education. The Providence Spring Elementary PTA is made up of teachers, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles all working together to support our school and our children. Our PTA remains focused on supporting our students, families, teachers, and staff in every way we can. We do this with our advocacy, community building, and partnering with our staff.
Fun, positive environment: PSE is not just a great place to learn but it is also a place for our children to grow and develop. The teachers and staff ensure that all students feel welcome and appreciated in a safe and secure environment.
