Spirit Rock
Spirit Rock Reservation: The purpose of the Spirit Rock is to promote school spirit at PSE and is intended to be used only by PSE students. In addition, the Spirit Rock will be used to raise funds for school beautification and improvement of our outdoor classroom.
Guidelines:
Reservations MUST be made in order to paint the Spirit Rock.
Reservations open at the beginning of the school year.
Reserving the Spirit Rock is $25. No refunds will be given.
Paint and painting supplies are not provided by the school or PTA. The school DOES provide a tarp -- please use it!.
Only one person per day may reserve the Spirit Rock.
Reservations must be made by a parent or teacher on behalf of a student or student group. Calls cannot be made to the front office for reservations. We ask for your assistance in following these guidelines:
Each reservation is for 24 hours beginning at 4:00 PM the day before. For example, if you reserve the rock for September 15th, you will have the Spirit Rock beginning at 4:00 PM on September 14th through 4:00 PM on September 15th.
The area around the Spirit Rock must be left neat and tidy and paint-free. A tarp has been provided! It is stored in the bench boxes near the Kindergarten playground (on the right side of the school).
Reminders for reservations will not be sent by the school or PTA.
All rules as outlined in the CMS student rights, responsibilities, and character development handbook and Code of Student Conduct MUST be obeyed (no bullying, profanity, obscenity, or derogatory language). No exceptions.
Tips:
Past painters recommend 3 to 5 cans of spray paint to cover the entire rock.
Use tarps (or old sheets) to cover nearby cars and the curb, especially if it's a windy day!
One tarp has been provided by PSE. It is stored in the bench boxes near the Kindergarten playground (on the right side of the school). Please return the tarp to the bench box when you are finished painting.
If you reserved the Rock, but can't remember the date you reserved, check back on your Cheddarup payments for reference to the date selected.
Yearbooks will be ordered directly through TreeRing. You can set up a TreeRing account by accessing the following link and entering the school code: 1015041446013063
You can begin uploading pictures throughout the year to TreeRing, which may then be used in the yearbook.
EduKit orders begin May of the school year and end by mid-July. All EduKits are then delivered to your children’s classrooms before the start of the new school year. Be on the look out for information in the spring on how to order them
